Shiptheory will use as the Sender's Address on TradeGecko orders, either the "location" address on the shipment in TradeGecko, as shown on the screenshot below, providing you have enabled "Download Stock Location Address", or your default Shipping Location address in Shiptheory.
To enable downloading stock locations from TradeGecko:
- Navigate to your TradeGecko settings page in Shiptheory, from the advanced settings, accessible from clicking the cog icon in the bottom corner of the page, select Download Stock Location Address.
- Save your settings. Any shipments created from this point onward will use your location address from TradeGecko, providing the address has at least address line 1 and country.
Important Note: Because TradeGecko address locations do not have fields for the first name, last name, company name, email or telephone, these fields will be taken from your default shipping location in Shiptheory.
Sending the Warehouse Address to Carriers
When Download Stock Location Address is enabled, Shiptheory may send the location address directly to carriers when booking shipments and manifesting. You should check how this behaviour affects your carrier account as some carriers will charge differently for collecting from multiple or unknown addresses.
