By default, the senders address, or from address, on shipments is taken from your default Shipping Location. Alternatively, Shiptheory can set the from address to the address of the warehouse in Brightpearl that the stock was fulfilled from.
To setup Shiptheory to use the Brightpearl warehouse address, follow the steps below.
- Enable & Configure Multiple Warehouses in Brightpearl. Refer to the Brightpearl Multiple Warehouse guide for help with this, or contact Brightpearl support.
- From your Brightpearl settings within Shiptheory, expand the advance settings by clicking the cog icon in the bottom left corner of the page, click the button to enable multiple warehouse support and then click save.
Company Name, Email, Telephone, First Name and Last Name Fields
Because Brightpearl does not have fields available on the warehouse for company name, telephone, email, first name and last name, Shiptheory will take these fields from your default Shipping Location.
Sending the Warehouse Address to Carriers
When multiple warehouses are enabled, Shiptheory may send the warehouse address directly to carriers when booking shipments and manifesting. You should check how this behaviour affects your carrier account as some carriers will charge differently for collecting from multiple or unknown addresses.
