It may be appropriate at certain times for you to suspend shipping rules. When you suspend a shipping rule, the rule is not used by Shiptheory. This means any shipments that would usually match this rule would be set to Ignored.
To suspend a rule, from the main menu browse to Shipping Rules -> Select the rule you wish to suspend and click the Suspend option from the drop down menu.
When you are ready to use the rule again, you can re-enable it using the Re-enable option from the same menu.
A suspended rule will show on your Shipping Rules page in red, as shown below.
