When sending shipments through DHL Parcel UK an address type is required to be specified for all shipments. The address type can either be residential or business, depending on the settings/enhancements you have setup will determine what is sent to DHL.
Any enhancements you select take priority over your settings selection. As shown below you are able to select either enhancement after you have selected any DHL Parcel service.
For selection you are only allowed to select one of the enhancements, selecting more then one will result in the following error:
For setting a fallback setting option navigate to your DHL Parcel UK settings page. Then go to advanced settings and then Recipient Address Type. By default the setting will be set to automatic mode which will check if a recipient company name is set. If so it will be set, otherwise it will be residential. Alternatively you can update this setting to be either always residental or always business.
