Some users will want to restrict access to certain tabs in the Advanced Dashboard, this guide will show you how to do that..
Step 1: Adding a new User
Refer to this guide to learn how to add a new user and make sure the user is restricted to View, Retry and Print Shipments Only.
Step 2: Make sure the dashboard button leads user to the advanced dashboard
If clicking the Dashboard button is taking you to the old dashboard then follow these steps to change it to default to the Advanced Dashboard.
The old dashboard will look like this:
Clicking this icon will switch the old dashboard view to the Advanced Dashboard view
Now you will be in the Advanced Dashboard View.
Step 3: Restricting User access
You can customise the access your users have to each dashboard tab.
1: In each dashboard tab there is a Settings cogwheel that leads you to the Tabs Settings page
2: Click the cogwheel and scroll down in the menu to "Enabled For"
Here you can select the users you want to allow access to each tab. For example set the Tab to only allow Admin Users
3: Click Save when done
Now you have Users and Permissions configured correctly.
