If you collect order gift messages in your Shopify store that you would like to pass to your courier or use in your integrated label templates, Shiptheory offers two options to support this.
Go to your Shopify settings in Shiptheory, click on Advanced Settings in the bottom left and scroll down to Save Order Gift Messages? From the drop-down menu select one of the following two options.
Use Order Notes
Any messages in the Order Notes section will be downloaded as a gift message:
Use a Custom Order Note
If you use an app that adds support for gift messages, it's likely that the app stores order gift messages in a custom order note. In this case, the app should either specify the name of the custom order note field it uses or you will have specified this in the app setup.
Enter the name of the custom order note field into the Custom Attribute Name in Shiptheory and click Save.
