Shiptheory is able to save a delivery date for your shipments from Magento 2 orders and shipments. In order to do so, you will need to enable this in your Magento 2 integration and specify the date in your Magento 2 orders. Follow the steps below to learn how to do so -
Enable Delivery Dates
From any page in Shiptheory, click on your email address in the blue header and under Channels, select your Magento 2 integration. In the bottom-left of the page, click the grey Advanced Settings button and scroll down to the Download Delivery Dates option.
Simply set this option to "Yes, Download Dates" and click Save.
Specify Delivery Dates
You can add delivery dates to either your Magento orders or shipments. If a date is added to both a shipment and its parent order, the date in the shipment takes priority.
Simply add a delivery date into your order or shipment comments field on a new line in the following pattern (where YYYY-MM-DD is the date in "year-month-day" format):
Delivery Date: YYYY-MM-DD
