Shiptheory is able to save a Ship Date and Delivery Date for your shipments from Magento 2 orders and shipments. In order to do so, you will need to enable this in your Magento 2 integration and specify the date in your Magento 2 orders comment. Follow the steps below to learn how to do so -
Step 1 Download the dates as Ship Date or Delivery Date
Click on Channels from the sidebar, and select your Magento 2 integration from the list. In the bottom-left of the setting page, click the grey Advanced Settings button and scroll down and you should see the two options:
Simply set the option needed to "Yes, Download Date" and click Save.
Step 2 Specify Delivery Dates
You can add the dates to either your Magento orders or shipments. If a date is added to both a shipment and its parent order, the date in the shipment takes priority. Beside, Shiptheory will start searching from recent comments first.
If you want to | Specify the date in YYYY-MM-DD format and put it into your shipment or order comment field like this: |
Set the shipment's Ship Date | Delivery Date: 2023-05-01 |
Set the shipment's Delivery Date | Alt Delivery Date: 2023-05-03 |
Instead of creating two comments for the two dates separately, you can also put the dates in the same comment box with the dates on separated lines. You can do so by typing the first line, then hit ENTER to start a new line and type another line.
The following shows the comment input box in the shipment page of Magento2 admin backend.
