From June 29, 2020, the United States Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), will require an Electronic Export Information (EEI) filing for shipments originating in the United States (US), Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands with a destination of the People’s Republic of China (China), Russia or Venezuela regardless of value.
If you’re shipping from the US, Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands to China or Russia you must provide an EEI filing Internal Transaction Number (ITN) with each shipment.
