Customs Charges Responsibility


You can set customs charges responsibility in setting of PostNord International. It is either the Receiver or the Seller.


PDDP (Postal Delivered Duties Paid)


If the following criteria are met, PDDP (Postal Delivered Duties Paid) terms, which mean the seller is responsible for paying the customs charges, will be used instead of the above setting.

  • An IOSS number is included on the shipment.
  • The shipment value is under €150 (approx. £135 for UK sellers).
  • The destination country supports PDDP via PostNord International.
  • Use one of these services within Shiptheory 
    • Merchandise Mail Plus Level 2

    • Merchandise Mail Plus Level 3

    • Merchandise Mail Plus Level 3 Parcel


Please contact PostNord International for more information if you want to ship with PDDP, as additional setup might be needed.
