If you need to change or override the default reason for export for your Royal Mail International shipments, you can easily do so by setting up a shipping rule.


How to override Reason For Export in Royal Mail 

    1. Create a new shipping rule specifically for Royal Mail.

2. Navigate to Advanced Settings and scroll down to the Update Shipment Details section.

3. In the dropdown menu, select Reason for Export.

4. Choose your override value from the accepted list, it cannot be a custom reason.

  • Documents
  • Returned Goods
  • Other
  • E-Commerce Sale of Goods (B2C)
  • Commercial Sale of Goods (B2B)
