Royal Mail services only allow one label per consignment, meaning you can’t ship multiple boxes under a single shipment. To send more than one box, you’ll need to split them into multiple shipments.
Parcelforce services via Royal Mail are different; multiple boxes under one consignment are supported by Parcelforce and will generate multiple labels and tracking numbers.
However, Shiptheory will only display and return one tracking number, meaning only the first tracking number will be returned to the sales channel.
There are two ways to split orders:
Option 1 : Split the shipment in Shiptheory so each box becomes its own shipment. How to Split a Shipment
Option 2 : Send each box to Shiptheory as a separate order, this will need to be done in your sales channel.
This way, each box has its own label and tracking number, and all tracking details can be sent back to the channel properly.
