Supported Pallet Sizes by United Pallet Network
In Shiptheory, you can choose which pallets to use with United Pallet Network in two ways: by using Shiptheory packages or by using Format.
Shiptheory will automatically choose suitable pallet sizes that match your customized pallet dimensions and weights based on the name of your package (e.g. Full, Euro, etc).
Method 1 - Using Shiptheory Package
You choose the pallet type, and Shiptheory automatically picks the correct pallet size for your shipment.
To do so, define your pallets in Shiptheory package first:

Click on the 'Add New Package Size' to create new package:
1. You must name your package with one of the following: Micro, Euro, Full, Half, Quarter+, Quarter
2. The size you enter here is for your reference only and won’t be used, as Shiptheory will choose a size for you based on the actual package weight.
3. Choose Pallet in the drop down

Once you’ve defined the pallet, you’re ready to ship. For example, during a manual shipment booking, you can book the shipment with the packages you’ve just set up. Shiptheory will use the pallet type ‘Full’ and find suitable sizes for you.

Method 2 - Using Shipment Format
You can also book the shipment using Format. In this case, first enter the default dimensions for the pallet in settings.

When booking a shipment, choose the supported pallet from the Format list. Shiptheory will automatically find a suitable size for you using the default dimensions specified in the settings. The weight of each pallet will be evenly divided based on the shipment weight and the number of boxes.
