Evri will treat the Channel Islands as an international cross-border movement with immediate effect. This means they will mandate certain information that is required by the Channel Island authorities.


  • Customer name is to be mandated, with first and last name required – to support speedier clearance and delivery.
  • Customer contact details (phone number and email address) – to support speedier clearance for collection of GST.
  • Goods value must be provided and declared at retail value – customs do check retail prices on retailers’ online platforms.
  • A full description is required of the products within each order/shipment. Any unacceptable description, as outlined by the European Commission, will likely cause the shipment to be detained by the relevant customs authority.
