Before you start
Maersk need to configure any account before we can connect to it. Please contact your Maersk account manager to let them know you would like to integrate with Shiptheory. Once your account has been configured, you should be provided with an (API) customer code. We need this customer code in the next steps.
Connect to Shiptheory
In Shiptheory, from the left-hand menu click Carriers > Manage Carriers and click on Maersk:
On the application page, enter the customer code provided by your Maersk account manager, select the countries you intend to deliver to with Maersk and click Save.
Note: these must be the same countries selected in your Customer Requirement Document when speaking with your Maersk account manager.
Once submitted, we will work with Maersk to complete your account setup.
Note: This could take up to 10 working days and our support team will be in touch when everything is ready for you to start shipping!
Final steps
Once our support team have got in touch to let you know your account is ready to go, please return to your Maersk carrier settings. There are three settings you will need to double-check - Collection Cutoff Time, Weekend Collections, and Default Parcel Dimensions:
Once you're happy with your settings, click Test Connection to confirm everything is ready to go, and click Save.
