As Parcelforce and Royal Mail merge to form a single parcel network, our Parcel Force integration will be retired, and you should migrate to our Royal Mail OBA integration. 


Royal Mail have said the migration will start from the 1st of June 2025.

I already have a Royal Mail OBA account connected to my Shiptheory that I will be merging my Parcelforce with:

You won't need to connect anything else up to Shiptheory, just reach out after the merge, and we will request barcode allocation from Royal Mail for the services you want to use. 


I'm connecting a second Royal Mail OBA account to replace my Parcelforce integration: 

Reach out to your account manager who will provide you with new Royal Mail OBA credentials and then follow our guide on how to connect your Royal Mail OBA account here: Royal Mail OBA Setup.


The integration can take a few days for Royal Mail approval.


Note: Did you know you can rename your integrations to make it easier to select the correct one? Head to your carrier management page, and hover over the name, and click the pen icon to edit. 




I don't have an existing Royal Mail OBA account:

Reach out to your account manager who will provide you with Royal Mail OBA credentials and then follow our guide on how to connect your Royal Mail OBA account here: Royal Mail OBA Setup.


The integration can take a few days for Royal Mail approval, but once setup, you will have access to both your Royal Mail and Parcelforce Services.



Things to remember:

With Royal Mail, you can send only 1 parcel per consignment. If you wish to send more than 1 Parcel, we recommend splitting the shipment at your sales channel as both tracking numbers will be returned, or splitting the shipment in Shiptheory.

- Your shipping rules that previously pointed to Parcelforce should be updated to use Royal Mail

- If you intend to ship internationally, be sure to turn on your Import/Export Documentation for your new Royal Mail integration.

- If you use Carrier specific printers, these can be updated here
