When sending shipments through DX Freight, it's important to be aware of the different data limits DX Freight have in place. For instance, DX Freight requires your shipment ID should not exceed 10 characters.

Shiptheory allows you to customize how to handle when your shipment data exceeds the limit with different options

  1. Display Warnings: When data on your shipment exceeds DX's limits, Shiptheory will display an error message when you try to ship

  2. Truncate All Data: Shiptheory will automatically truncate any data that exceeds DX limits.

  3. Truncate Some Data: Shiptheory will automatically truncate some fields, while warning you about others that exceed the limits. Specifically, the following fields will be truncated.
