Parcel Contents Description (Required Setting):
This setting is used to detail the general description of the goods you send and will be used at customs.
Default Package Dimensions (Required Setting):
This setting allows you to specify a default parcel size which will be sent to Starlinks. This default can be overridden by using Shiptheory's Package Sizes feature.
Incoterms (Advanced Setting and Shipment Enhancements):
Use this setting to set your default incoterm. This can be overridden by using the DDU and DDP shipment enhancements.
To override your default incoterm:
- Using the DDP enhancement with a shipment will override your default incoterm setting and force the DPP incoterm on your shipment.
- Using the DDU enhancement with a shipment will override your default incoterm setting and force the DPU incoterm on your shipment.
Default Currency (Advanced setting):
Use this setting to dictate which currency should be sent to Starlinks if a shipment does not have a currency associated with it.
Cash on Delivery (Shipment Enhancement):
Use this enhancement to specify whether you would like the recipient to pay cash on delivery. The amount to be paid will be set to the total value of the shipment.
Proof of Delivery (Shipment Enhancement):
Use this enhancement to specify whether you want the recipient to sign for the package when it is delivered.
Dangerous Goods (Shipment Enhancement):
Use this enhancement to specify whether your shipment contains dangerous goods.
