When sending orders to Palletways through Shiptheory, it's possible for Shiptheory to tell Palletways what type of notifications to send to customers, as well as when they should be sent.
For this, you'll want to head onto your Palletways settings page in Shiptheory and click "advanced settings" in the bottom left:
If you then scroll down slightly further, you'll see the notification options;
Shiptheory can trigger Palletways to send notifications to customers via email, SMS or both. The important thing to note is that the email/phone number used will be the one sent through in the order's recipient information. So you'll want to make sure you provide an email and phone number and that these are correct for the customer.
When to send Notifications-
With this option, you can decide what statuses in the Palletways side will trigger a notification to be sent to the customer, as you can see, there are a number of different options to select, and you can choose more than one by CTRL+clicking the needed options. As you may be able to see in the above image, it's important to note that the ETA status can only be sent via SMS.
