Commercial Invoices generated in Shiptheory will have an Export Declaration at the bottom. The contents of the Export declaration will depend on your shipment's origin and destination countries.

Shipments inside of the EU

"The exporter of the products covered by this document (Exporter Reference No. 00000000) declares that, except where otherwise clearly indicated, these products are of UK/EU preferential origin. Business Name, Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, Postcode, Country."

If you would like to update the origin specified in this statement from "UK/EU" to something else, you can do so in your Customs Documents settings.

The Exporter Reference number in the Export Declaration statement is updated with the Tax Number or EORI set in your Shiptheory company settings.

You can set the origin address in your Shiptheory company settings.

Rest of World Shipments

"The exporter of the products covered by this document declares that except where otherwise clearly indicated, these products are of the origin as stated above."

If you set an origin address in your Shiptheory company settings, the declaration will read:

"The exporter of the products covered by this document declares that except where otherwise clearly indicated, these products are of COUNTRY origin. Business Name, Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, Postcode, Country."
