It only takes 2 minutes to connect your Sendle and Shiptheory accounts. The guide below will get you up-and-running booking shipments in no time!
Before you Start
You will first need to have an active Sendle account, visit https://www.sendle.com to get set up. Once signed up:
- Confirm your email address. To do this, check your inbox for the email and click the confirmation link.
- Attach a credit card to the Billing page of your Sendle Dashboard in the currency you are going to be creating orders.
- Accept the Dangerous Goods Terms in your Pickup Settings.
Get your Sendle API Credentials
Log into your Sendle account and from the menu, select Settings > Integrations and make a note of your Sendle ID and API Key.
Connecting your Sendle account
From any page in Shiptheory, click on your username in the top-right blue menu and select the 'Manage Carriers' option from the drop-down menu:
From the next page, scroll down to Connect a New Carrier Account and click on the Sendle logo to activate the courier on your Shiptheory account:
You will be redirected to the new Sendle Account Details page.
Select the country from which you will be sending your shipments and enter your Sendle ID, API Key and a basic description of the goods you will be sending with Sendle
Click the Test Connection button below to verify your details are correct and Shiptheory can connect to your account. All going well, you should be greeted with success:
If you receive an error, double-check you have entered your Sendle ID and API Key correctly and completed the checklist under Before You Start at the top of this page and try again.
