DPD's Electronic Customs Documentation (ECD) enables the automatic submission of customs documentation when booking international shipments. Once enabled, you don't need to supply the normal paper copies of your customs documentation with your shipments and it enables an earlier review of your shipments at the destination's customs, reducing the risk of shipments getting delayed.
This service is only available to destinations outside of the EU on the Air Express and Air Classic services.
How to enable Electronic Customs Documentation
In your DPD courier settings scroll down until you see the option 5, Enable Paperless Trade, and change the option to "Yes" and click Save.
Important: DPD requires full product data to be provided at the time of booking ECD-eligible shipments, including full commodity information in order to complete the required documentation. Please ensure your sales channel has this information available before enabling this option.
