SetUp:

The first step in setting up WooCommerce is to enable it from the channels page here. Simply click the WooCommerce option on this page, it will enable it within your Shiptheory account and load up the connection page.

Now that this has been done you'll be able to access the WooCommerce integration page, which at the moment, will not be connected to your store. You'll want to include the full URL to your WooCommerce store on this page and hit connect.

Two things to keep in mind regarding this are:

  • This needs to include the URL scheme - HTTPS
  • Shiptheory can't support HTTP due to it being insecure and GDPR law

After you enter your URL and hit connect you'll be taken to the page below where you'll be prompted to login to WooCommerce. You should enter your WooCommerce administrator details here, do this and you'll be taken to a screen where you'll have to approve the integration and allow it a certain set of permissions.

This is where you'll click "Approve" in order to give Shiptheory the permissions it needs to interact with your WooCommerce store.

After you do this you'll be taken back to the WooCommerce integration settings within Shiptheory and a green tick will appear letting you know that your store is connected.

Once your store is connected, these options will become available:

WooCommerce Shipment Tracking
