Overview
Shiptheory integrates with Pall-Ex, allowing you to seamlessly book in orders and create labels.
NOTE -- If you are shipping with Pall-Ex, you are required to specify the size of your consignments in pallets, or part pallets. More information about this can be found here.
Set up
To connect Pall-Ex to your Shiptheory account, please find them on our Carrier Integrations Page. From this page, you'll want to scroll down and choose the Pall-Ex option to enable it within your account. It shouldn't be too far down, the list is in alphabetical order.
Once you have done this, you will be taken to the Pall-Ex Setup page. On this page you will need to enter a few pieces of information to allow us to connect your Pall-Ex account to Shiptheory.
Account Code
This is so we can identify which account you want to connect. If you cannot find your Account Code, you can contact Pall-Ex and ask for it at [email protected].
API Username
If you do not have one of these, you can request one from [email protected].
API Password
If you do not have one of these, you can request one from [email protected].
Tail Lift
If this is set to 'Yes', all shipments booked with Pall-Ex will have this set to yes by standard.
Book-In Requirement
This is for if Book-In is required when making non-timed deliveries. Premium Services are not eligible for Book-IN
Security Service
If this is set to 'Yes', all shipments booked with Pall-Ex will have this set to yes by standard.
Pallet Type
What type of Pallet do you use, Standard or Euro?
Once you have entered all these details, click 'Test Connection'. If the green tick appears, you have successfully connected your Pall-Ex account.
If this is not the case for you, please get into contact with our Support Team.
Additional Information
When inputting these details to connect Pall-Ex to Shiptheory, make sure you know if these are live or test details. To be able to change from test to live mode, you will need to go to the Advanced Settings for Pall-Ex. These can be found by clicking the little cog in the bottom left of the Pall-Ex settings page.
Other settings you can find in the Advanced setting for Pall-Ex are listed below.
Weight Conditions
You can use this to create a minimum weight value for Pall-Ex orders, or to override all Shipments to have this weight.
Restricted Collection
Here you can specify if your collection location has restricted access.
Limited Quantity Goods
If all your consignments contain limited quantity goods select 'yes'.
Default Special Instructions
This instruction will be placed on all consignments that are sent to Pall-Ex.
