When you have finished processing your Royal Mail shipments each day, you will need to print the Manifest Paperwork. This paperwork needs to be given to the Royal Mail driver when they arrive to collect the day's shipments.

It is important that you print the manifest on the day you dispatch your orders, if not before as the printing process triggers an electronic data transfer to Royal Mail that contains tracking and billing information as well as important Customs data, where international shipments are being shipped. If you forget to print the days manifest paperwork, the next time you print your manifest, the shipments from the missed day will be added to latest manifest.

Deleting Royal Mail Labels

Remember to delete any labels that you created in error or no longer intend to post from the Manifest before you print it, so that Royal Mail do not bill you.

Important: You must destroy any Royal Mail labels you have printed if you delete them from the manifest, if you ship deleted labels, Royal Mail will charge you a penalty - Under no circumstance should you dispatch deleted Royal Mail labels.

You can Print and Delete items from the Manifest from the Manifest option of the Royal Mail menu, shown below.

To delete any labels from the manifest, you will need to click Manage Manifest. From here, you will be able to search for the order by its consignment number. An example of the page can be seen below, as well as how to delete a specific label.
