If you are importing goods to Non-EU countries from an EU country or you are shipping goods to EU countries from a Non-EU country, you need an EORI number. If you do not already have an EORI number, you should contact your countries tax or customs authority. If you are based in the U.K.,  you can register for an EORI number here.

It's important to note that the EORI number should be 14 digits long, so it's usually best to double check your EORI if it doesn't match this character amount.

Once you have an EORI number, you can add it to your Shiptheory account, which Shiptheory may use when sending electronic trade documents to certain countries.
