In Shiptheory, we are able to change when Handwritten Notes are generated, based on whether a consignment has a Gift Message or not.

Getting Started.

To get started on configuring the generation of these Handwritten Notes, navigate to the Handwritten Notes Configuration Page on Shiptheory and edit your existing Handwritten Notes template.

You can do this by navigating to your Shiptheory Dashboard, and from there, click on Settings and then click on Handwritten Notes.

From there, either click Edit to configure an existing template or if needed create a New template to start configuring your Handwritten Notes.

Once you have entered the configuration for your Handwritten Notes template, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Grey Advanced Settings box.

When you click on the Advanced Settings box, you will see an option called Print if Gift Message is Empty

From there, you can select one of the following options:

Print When Empty: This option will print Handwritten Notes when a Gift Message is not present in the order.

Don't Print When Empty: This option will only print Handwritten Notes when a Gift Message is present in the order.

Once you have chosen your desired setting, simply click on the Blue Save Button, to save the changes!

And that is it, you have successfully configured the generation of your Handwritten Notes! If you are wanting to know more about Handwritten Notes in Shiptheory, please see this guide to learn more!
