Shiptheory Support

Certain channels within Shiptheory do not currently support commodity data. These channels are :

• Etsy
• Amazon
• Ebay

However, there is a work around to manually input commodity information for products. Once done, as product SKU's get recognized in an order, the commodity information will be automatically be matched to the data from previous orders, AKA the CSV.

Using our CSV Upload Tool, you are able to manually force through a set of orders containing commodity information for your products. The main functionality on the page is that using the template CSV, you can fill in your product information that needs updating with your SKUs, you can then input your Shiptheory login information and upload your CSV. This will then add the information in the CSV to Shiptheory.

Using CSVs

When uploading a CSV you will need to make sure that you have all the relevant information present on the sheet, and it will have to be under the correct headers. To see the required information on a CSV - See "CSV Reference" on the Upload Tool page. Make sure to follow the template and you can also use the example CSV we provide on the web page for reference. 

Note that if you are wanting to input a bulk of product information on one CSV, we recommend using the same "reference" and "reference2" on all lines of the CSV. This way all of the products will come through within the same order
