To allow Shiptheory to connect directly with your printers, you will need to use the Shiptheory Print Client. This can allow Shiptheory to automatically to your printers, or just add the option to print to a specific printer. You can read more about the settings for printing in Shiptheorey on our support guide here.

You can download the latest version of the Shiptheory Print Client for Windows from the printing setup page.

Installation and Setup

Once you have downloaded the Shiptheory Print Client for Windows, open this file up. You can most likely find it in your downloads folder.

You will then want to accept the Licence agreement and confirm the installation file location.

You will then be asked if you want to install the Shiptheory Print Client as a Windows Service. In most cases, you do not want this and can leave the option unticked. You can read more about the difference between the Windows service and the application on our guide here.

Once you have finished the installation, it will then open the Shiptheory Print Client and present you with the option to login. You will want to use the same email and password you use to login to your Shiptheory account.w

After clicking Sign In it will then minimize itself. The setup is now complete! You will now want to go into your Shiptheory account where you can configure your printing settings.

Where can I find the Shiptheory Print Client?

If you ever need to access the Shiptheory Print Client, you can find it by navigating to the menu shown below (It is in the bottom right of your Windows computer). The symbol for the Shiptheory Print Client is an orange circle. Right-clicking on it provides you with the option to open it.

You will most likely never need to access the Shiptheory Print Client itself as it simply serves as the connection between your Shiptheory account and your printers.

If you are ever having issues with labels not printing out, the first thing to always check is if the Shiptheory Print Client is running.
